THE COMMISSIONERS OF THE TOWN OF BELLEFONTE ON AUGUST 2, 2010, ADOPTED ORDINANCE NO. 2010-01

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Article 17 of the Charter of the Town of Bellefonte that on Monday, August 2, 2010, during a special meeting of the Commissioners of the Town of Bellefonte, Delaware, after a second reading, Ordinance 2010-01, with the following title was adopted:

AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL AND REPLACE BELLEFONTE’S BUILDING ZONE ORDINANCE (1947, ETC.), ORDINANCE 2006-1, ORDINANCE 2006-2, AND PAST AMENDMENTS RELATING THERETO WITH A NEW BELLEFONTE LAND USE CODE AND A NEW OFFICIAL ZONING MAP.

SYNOPSIS: This Ordinance repeals Bellefonte’s Building Zone Ordinance adopted in 1947, as subsequently amended, in its entirety and replaces it with the Bellefonte Land Use Code. This Ordinance also repeals the Town of Bellefonte Zoning Map, dated November 1945 in its entirety and replaces it with a new official zoning map.
