Planning Commission/Zoning Review Board
The Planning Commission/Zoning Review Board (ZRB) meets every Monday at 7:00 pm at Town Hall (when there is a ZRB application to review) with the exception that when Monday is a National Holiday, they will meet on following Tuesday unless otherwise announced.
The Function of the Planning Commission is to develop the Town’s Comprehensive Plan, its Land Use Code, and any legislation that affects zoning. The Planning Commission meets monthly on the first Monday of every month, with the exception of holidays, in which case they meeting the second Tuesday. Although appointment to the PC/ZRB must be approved by the Town Commission, the Planning Commission/ZRB operates independently of the Town Commission according to the requirements of Delaware Code.

The Bellefonte Planning Commission/Zoning Review Board meets on Monday to review ZRB Applications for conformance to Bellefonte Zoning Code. The ZRB will review applications prior to their review by New Castle County Dept. of Land Use.
